ISP A national Internet Service Provider (ISP) with 15 Gateway Point-of-Presence (POP) sites across the country needed a monitoring solution for each of the 15 sites. They wanted to monitor less than 10 points, and send alarm notification to their Network Operations Center located in the Midwest. They chose the Falcon™ Monitoring System.

For notification method, this company uses the Falcon's SNMP over Ethernet capabilities. Each of this customer's sites are linked by a local and wide area network (LAN and WAN). The Falcon at each site is connected to the local network. Upon alarm, the Falcon sends out a notification over the Ethernet (SNMP Protocol) to the Operations Center. The alarm message is received and displayed through the network management system (NMS).
