First-quarter Records Set with new President & COO
Ft. Collins, Colorado (May 3, 2006) - RLE Technologies, a leader in water leak detection systems and web based monitoring and alarm notification solutions, announced today a record-setting first-quarter for company growth and momentum. The company came under the new direction of President & COO Michael Orlich in January and has since refocused on core product development and sales growth.

Orlich's proven track record of growing businesses, product innovation, and a strong focus on customer service is working well for RLE. With his leadership and established vision -- growth through product innovation and concentration on the development of business channels -- the company is off to an unprecedented start to the year. First quarter sales for 2006 exceeded Q1 2005 by 69 percent, placing RLE on track to meet or exceed its targeted annual growth rate.
As President & COO, Orlich brings over 30 years of experience in Telecommunications Systems, Monitoring and Control Systems, and Business Management to RLE. He holds a Computer Science Degree from Purdue University and a Computer Management Degree and MBA from Franklin University. Orlich has held various management positions within top 100 companies, including Liebert Corporation, a division of Emerson Electric. His most recent position was Director of Sales and Marketing for OEMCtrl, a division of Automated Logic Corporation, a United Technologies Corporation.
